New Orleans-based family foundation 

The MAP Fund is founded on the principle that exploration drives human progress, no less in art than in science or medicine. MAP supports original live performance projects that embody a spirit of deep inquiry.

The Azby Fund is a nonprofit family foundation formed in 1969 by Herbert Harvey Jr. of the family that established Harvey, Louisiana and developed the Harvey Canal. It supports community projects in the greater New Orleans area.

IMPACT is the Greater New Orleans Foundation’s discretionary grants program.  Its goal is to promote a resilient, vibrant, and equitable region in which the special character of New Orleans and its people is preserved, celebrated, and given the means to thrive.

Mission:The Foundation supports grant seekers from the southeast Louisiana area. Within this area, highest priority is given to grants in the following categories.

  • Education with an emphasis on private education

  • Arts, both performing and applied

  • Community improvement and governmental oversight

  • Human service organizations with an emphasis on capital projects for established agencies.
